Ear Infection

I have had an ear infection now for nearly 2 weeks as the first week the dr i first saw thought it was just a wax build up, when i finally goot it diagnosed after being in agony for days i was given augmentin, i finished these last night but the pain is still there and it feels like i have alot of pressure in my ear iyswim, have always vomitted this am and feel sick, i have put enough olive oil to drown italy has anyone got a clue what to do?/happens next?

if you have an ear infection dont put olive oil in it as you will trap the infection in. You may need to go and get a different course of antibiotics or some genticin HC ear drops from doc.

aah thats where i may have been going wrong, meant to be have them syringed on weds

shouldnt have your ears syringed whilst you have an infection as it could cause a perforation/and alot of pain. get the infection sorted before you have them syringed

well had them syringed 2day as the infection had all cleared up. thank god i can hear again! thanks so much 4 your help

glad its all clearing up. Im sure the nurse wouldnt have syringed them if you'd had an infection
