can anyone do a temperature conversion for me?

DD has a temp of 39, can anyone convert this for me. I know it's highish but i would like to know how high. Thanks

if it's 39 celsius then 102 farenheit

How old is DD and are u giving her anything...When Ds had tonsilitis he had temp of 40.1 and all i was told to do was give him paracetamol 5/10mls four times a day and 5mls nurofen three times a day. He was 12mths old at the time...

thanks am trying to get hold of doctor but they work spanish hours, I think its glandular fever again. It's also really hot here today so ive got the windows open and the fans on. She's really not well.

She is 4 and ive just given her ibruprofen medicine. It hasnt kicked in yet that was about half an hour ago. Shes dozing now.

best tip from Countess Dracula:

'Get an empty gallon ice cream container or similar) and fill with water, freeze and then dip container into hot water, put the block of ice in front of the fan and it will cool the room. The bigger the lump of ice the better'
