Everything tastes horrible??!

Hi
Has anyone had a bug where everything tastes odd and feels odd at the back of the tongue?

I've had painful sinuses which are a bit better but no cold curretnly but everything tastes revolvting.

Am gutted that I might not appreciate xmas dinner!

I had this for a couple of weeks before I got a case of Bells Palsy. Apparently it can be caused by an infection in the nerve and my doctor said that it may have been an early warning sign. It was awful to have no taste.

Not sure that it is the same but taste can be influenced by many things.

You poor thing.

I find things taste nasty when I have a sinus infection.

Sounds like tonsilitus to me probably best to get gp to check
