Missed period

For the first time ever - other than when pg with DD (2.2) - I have missed a period. Either that or it's now 35 days late. I have done two dozen pg tests, have had a pregnancy blood test, all negative. GP suggested it was stress, but I've been a lot more stressed in my life and it has never affected my menstrual cycle before. We are ttc no. 2, so obviously I'm symptom spotting, and so far I've got slight nausea, period-type pain, feel a bit 'wet' down below (sorry TMI but I had this when I was pg) and tender boobs. But not a single positive pg test in sight!

I know I should really go back to the GP but I'm scared - what if it's early menopause or something?

I would book a routine appt for after christmas, BFP would be my first thought though.

Are you normally regular? been TTC long? and what contraception were you using last, ie injection can interfere with things?

I don't think GPs rush to investigate though, unless it lasts a long time. Still most likely to be a baby though, all things considered

Nah, I reckon you're not pg. You've had tests and everything. Bodies are weird, just because you've been more stressed before doesn't mean stress isn't the cause. It's about how it interacts with lots of other factors. Early pregnancy symptoms can be quite similar to plain old PMT

Just re-read OP and seen you are ttc - so hope you are though!

Been ttc since June, cycles usually 30-35 days - I came off the pill in March, and we were using condoms after that.

I'm fine with not being pg - the thought of a newborn at the mo fills me with terror - but I'd quite like to see the return of my period!
