sore lump under my eye.

Hi, this morning i woke up with a really sore red lump under my eye, but the pain is all across the lower part of my eye socket.

Does anybody know what this is?
Does anybody have a cure?
Do i have to go see my docter?

any advice will be helpful.

My DH had this and it got bigger and bigger til eventually I persuaded him to go to the doctors and he was given a course of antibiotics which got rid of it.

if it looks like a stye and is really sore it could be a chalazion. some respond to anti biotic ointment as long as they are dealt with quickly. Bathe with warm water to open up grease gland which could be blocked
