Anyone know about vaccinations - content and testing?

I've also posted this in 'child health', but maybe this section is more appropriate.

I am going round in circles trying to decide whether to give my dds the swine flu jab. They've had all the usual vaccinations, as I'm basically in favour of them, but I have a few specific questions about the swine flu one.

I have seen threads about this jab, obviously, but I don't think I have seen answers to the following questions (apologies if I just haven't looked in the right places):

I have read that there is concern over the presence of mercury in the vaccination. Does anybody know whether there is mercury in any other young children's vaccinations? I am trying to find a way to decide whether this is a concern.

And the adjuvant, squalene - is this something that would normally be given to young children in other jabs?

And finally does anybody know the difference between the testing that has been done on this vaccination and other longer-established ones?

If there's anyone out there with this information I would be very grateful. Thanks...

No, squalene would not normally be given in other jabs.

Mercury is not present in MMR or the five in one infant jabs, MenC, Hib or polio.

I don't know about the difference in testing, obviously there has been no long term testing.

Also I wouldn't but that's me

Here is the pandermix GSK PDF file for the vaccine being used for children and adults in the UK. This vaccine is the one used if you children are ok with egg based vaccines.

here

Happy reading

just looking at that link it says that the jab contains thiomersal, isnt that a mercury compound and havent there been some question marks about its safety?
