I've got a very sore throat, it's like knives, and I am on day 3 of it. It is bad enough to keep me awake, and I think the sickness I have had today is because of the snot it is generating that I am swallowing (sorry). Can anyone suggest a remedy involving hot, and honey, and toddy?

Thanks,

Bloss

If you can cross post to food, ask someone to look in Nigella Express - there's a great recipe that dh makes me and it's fab!

you should add some fresh ginger to whatever you make, it actually helps your body to recover more quickly.

Large spoonful honey, slug of whisky, slug of ginger wine, hot water. You won't worry about your sore throat afterwards !
