Oh shit! Dad's back in hospital with a suspected ulcer

Mum just called He's had black poo and very low blood pressure. So they think he may have an ulcer caused by the warfarin

Not a big problem compared the the op but I have this sick feeling that something else is wrong.

Well he was coming out today but they are giving him another endoscopy first. And he can't wee since having the catheter removed.

So in theory it's next Tuesday.

He's bach home again. Much better than before he went him and with an appetite. Very tired again this morning but that's to be expected I guess.

Thanks for all your support and advice everyone. Hoping this will be end of this thread and I won't have to start another of the same subject!

Glad he's home for Christmas Orm. Hre's to a good one and a happy, healthy New Year.

Back again

Dad fell when he tried to get out of bed last night. His legs just collapsed under him and couldn't get up. Mum called ambulance but he got up on his own after a while. They checked him out and took blood. Low haemoglobin but not too serious. HE will just have to take things as they come.

Beginning to dread phone calls now
