Ultrasound, how accurate?

I had a lump in my breast which was checked out a couple of months ago by having an ultrasound. I was told I had 'lumpy' breasts in general and this particular lump looked like a blocked duct (apparently I have many of these in both breasts). How accurate is an ultrasound at detecting the status of lumps? The initial lump seems to be getting bigger and now I am feeling a little concerned.

I recently went to a breast clinic, where they gave me the all-clear after a mammogram. They also told me to go back to the GP if anything changed. So I would go back to your GP as its getting bigger...

(someone else might be more help than me )

Go back and ask for another referral- it is prob nothing but don't wait- find out.
