Is what I'm after!
With continuing minor stomach ishoos, I want to give my digestive health a kickstart.

I thought manuka honey, acidophillus etc.

Can anyone recommend any particular foodstuffs/supplements/alternative wotsits?

cut out wheat & cut down on dairy & sugar

Thanks nightcat- I'd forgotten that flax is supposed to be a good thing!

Im wondering also if I might have a yeast thing going on, I am getting mad sugar cravings- to the point of having 3 spoons in tea and 8 in a mug of coffee. That can't be normal, but I feel I need it, and then wonder if it's actually adding to the problem.....

EIGHT??? surely a misprint? :-o

well, if you can't do w/o sugar, u can always use honey, should be a tad healthier;
also, use herbs, eg coriander is supposed to help to clear heavy metals and parsley for iron

PS. I think candida/fungal problems thrive on sugar

Nope, not a misprint.

I definitely need to cut that out! One spoon at a time....I was wondering about the candida business....eek!

Hiya, some of the best acidohphilus suupplements are made by BioCare and Natren. These two manufactures produce quality and viable good bacteria products in capsule and powder presentations.

Hope this helps
