Preeclampsia - when does it resolve?

I was induced due to preeclampsia and my baby is now 10 days old. Still got really high blood pressure and other symptoms off and on which is a right nightmare because i have to keep going back in to hospital... can anyone else tell me when their symptoms finally resolved?

Normally its when the baby is born which is why they tend to whip 'em out. What did the hospital say?

I was on high blood pressure meds for about 3 weeks iirc. The doctor made a comment about my symptoms resolving really fast so presumably some people take a bit longer.
