My DD is 11 and suffering from suicidal thoughts. It started 6 weeks ago and we're sill waiting for fucking help. We're taking her to a private therapist tomorrow. What will I do if he says he can't help? I don't know how much more I can cope I don't know what else to do to help her. what do you do when your baby asks if you're going to kill her with her eyes pleading with you to say no.

I can't cope anymore

Thanks again. DD was ok yesterday, sometimes talking about it upsets her, but she was no worse than usual.

Her and DH picked me up from work and we went to the shops. DD is very Victorian she takes the vapours if she hears something rude. She said to me that when the thoughts came back she would say in her head "go away you wee b's"

"Bastards?" said I. "Yes" she looks around her and whispers "effing b's"

I said to DH "Oh did you hear she's calling her thoughts fucking wee bastards?"

Poor DD was horrified "Noooo effing wee b's I don't swear!"

I really need to toughen her up

Thanks again, it means a lot that people take the time to reply.
