Worrying headaches - cluster headaches?

I have started to occasionally get headaches which seem to always be on one side of my head - usually towards the back of my head. It's a sort of sharp pain, that disappears and then comes back, sometimes radiating towards other parts of my head.
I don't think it's a brain tumor (I hope not !!!!!) but it's worrying me. Could it be a cluster headache?

Could be, could also be an ear infection or a sinus infection on one side. Go to the GP. But before you do that keep a diary of them for a week. Also see if they happen at certain times of the month or day and see if you can identify any triggers.

I for example get sharp stabbing pains on the right side of my head if I drink certain types of coffee (which makes no bloody sense, you'd think it was the caffeine but I suspect it's actually the pesticides in some types of beans ).

Is it a bit like being struck by an axe on the side back bone of your skull which lasts just moments but repeats?

If so, get it checked, mine were due to high blood pressure.

Carson - yes, a bit like that sometimes - but I have very low blood pressure !
I guess I will go the GP to get it checked out...
