Swabs: Called back for routine appointment... advice please!

Had some vaginal swabs taken to check for infection last week. Had a letter today to make a routine appointment to see the GP.

I'm SO worried, anyone know why I have to go back and does it mean there is something wrong?

Could it be that your GP has to prescribe the antibiotics (assuming it is an infection)

Or they have mixed up the results and need to do the test again, that happens occasionally.
