myself, DH and DD(8) have been asked by GP if we want to have swine flu jab. None of us have underlying health conditions, the reason why we have been called in is that my ds (4) has a heart condition but he has already had the vaccine so should be protected. Wondering whether we should have it or not.

I have a very minor heart condition but am healthy unless I'm pregnant - I've had it and frankly, given the lack of side effects (except a sore arm) versus the horrible experience of actually having swine flu, I'd have it like a shot if I were you!

Hi, I had the SF vaccine at 2.35pm today. I am healthy -touch wood -and had it as I am living in with my Mother who is on chemo. Bit nervous having read various posts, but so far just a painful arm, fingers crossed...

I had it yesterday a.m. Only have a slightly sore arm and feel a little more tired and dopey than usual (have 3 dc's so not sure what not tired is!). Have a small bruise where injection given. Now seriously considering taking 3 dc's to have it done. HTH
