Erections in baby boys

I've had many conversations with other mums of little boys who talk about their sons getting erections from a young age. How common is this? I've never had any experience of this happening with my two boys.

It's normal in most baby boys, especially in a warm bath for instance. It just depends. It's just a function like breathing really.

My son got them from about 3 months - but it is not very noticeable. Certainly totally normal.

My son has been "polishing" (as we call it) his willy since he was about 4, he's 6 now. He only does it as he's going off to sleep and we just leave him to it! Not much you can do about it really.
