After gettingthe prescription a while ago I've finally decided to start taking them. First one last night and I had the worst night's sleep of my life even though I was so spaced out and dizzy I could barely talk or keep eyes open. Also have a very peculiar sensation in my hands, very strong tingling and feel a bit numb at the same time.

I've taken another tablet and same thing with hands. As well as generally shakey.

According to google tingling in hands is a serious side effect and I should cotact Dr straight away. Why's it so serious?

Yes, what is the dose? But don't take anymore and see the gp first thing monday unless symptoms worsen then straight to hospital.

naybe see if you can take the 50mg normal ones as it maybe the strength or the 'slow release' bits.

Will ask the GP about that, thanks. Yesterday I was really sleep with it and tonight I'm bouncing off the walls, totally hyper.

Take care, a mate of a mate 'sees' things!

it is a morphine derivitive so you may get alot of CNS side effects. It affects some people more than others. Has doc put you straight on to the slow release? Maybe it would be better to get him to give you the ordinary 50mg capsules and then build up slowly to the most effective dose.
