I've always had regular periods, more or less 28 day cycle until now! I am two and a half weeks late. I even did a pregnancy test. I feel like I'm due but nothing is happening! I'll make a GP appointment next week but in the meantime grateful to learn your experiences. I'm 45.

maybe it's perimenopause ?

could well be...i was 45 when mine started going from the regular 26 days. Sometimes i would miss a period for 3 months and then everything would go back to normal for a few months.Odd

TBH wouldn't shoot off to the GP yet-they will only ask you to record your cycles for a few months.
Meno is not an illness so you don't need to see your dr unless you have other symptoms or are having an early meno- all over by 45.

My periods are all over the place at the moment. I have been every 28 days since I started my periods at 13 and the last three months I have been 5 weeks, mini one after 2 weeks, 4 weeks and now 3 weeks! What does it mean? I am only 37!
