numb hand/arm

I woke up 3 days ago with a numb thumb, parts of my arm are numbish too now

I have type 2 diabetes but I'm not very good at controlling, still getting used to diagnosis 3 months in

It's my right arm/hand, I have some aches in it but they feel muscular and I have had joint pain in my hand for months, which is prob connected to psoriasis

So is this likely to be serious? I know I need to see a doctor but wondering if I should wait until monday or call the out of hours (which I don't like doing if not serious)

Anyone ever experienced anything like this?

IMHO you would be better going to your local walk-in centre - if you've got one anywhere nearby? otherwise yes out of hours

Wouldn't know what the cause could be, but I had scary numbness and tingling in my hand and it was sorted very quickly with a splint which holds the wrist and hand at the right angle to stop the nerves etc getting trapped. Get seen asap so you don't just spend all your time worrying instead. A bit concerning that it's spreading quite quickly, but as I say I don't know much.

I had a 2 numb fingers that spread up my arm, down my torso then down my leg. This happened out the blue 4 weeks ago. Last week I got diagnosed with MS.

Hi

Can I recommend a few websites:

www.lowdosenaltrexone.org/ldn_latestnews.htm

www.lowdosenaltrexone.o rg/ldnandms.htm

www.msrc.co.uk/index.cfm?fuseaction=show&pageid=777

and lastly www.ldnnow.co.uk

These websites will speak for themselves. Low Dose Naltrexone is not a new drug - it has been used for drug/alcohol dependency for many years in HIGH doses. Read about it yourselves.

Dr Chris Steele has just handed a petition into number 10 for clinical trials to be paid for by NHS for other diseases such as MS, RA etc. and it works well on cancers. You can hear Dr Chris on Youtube if you google him.

friend had this. numbness on one side, mainly in legs, but also head and arm. had tests, brain scan, showed nothing. went by itself. they said possibly some sort of inflammation of nerves.
