silly question but ive avoided peanuts all through pregnancy due to ds1 having had excema and me thinking that perhaps the few I ate during first pregnancy affected this. I didnt eat peanuts while breastfeeding ds1 just in case. Now ds2 has arrived. Does anybody know whether peanuts continue to carry this allergy risk through breastmilk?

If you googe peanuts and breast milk you will get lots of info such as the link above.

Basically peanut protien is present in breast milk but is only a potential problem in families with a strong allergy history.
