I was bitten by a stray dog early this afternoon and seeing Dr 7:30pm for tetanus.

What are the side-effects of this jab?

Going on holiday in 11 hours time!

Tut! And thanks.

I can't remember having my tetanus, although, I must have at school, so it's been at least 16 years!

Do the not jab in the leg, then?

Thanks.

Achy arm. I had mine updated earlier this year and it was really quite uncomfortable the next day - like muscle strain. I had to have the tetanus/DDT vaccine though as it was all they had at the time.

I think you are supposed to get tetanus boosters along with polio every ten years. I could be wrong but will ask GP next time I have to see him.

Should get tetanus boosters every 10 years, until you have had 5 tetanus jabs altogether. These days you have three as a baby and 2 at school, if you get all the scheduled jabs.
