Does anyone have flexural psoriasis?

I have had common psoriasis in the common places (knees, elbows, feet, scalp) for years and it comes and goes. It's not fun but it doesn't bother me that much as I'm used to it and can manage it.

However, I have recently (last 3 months) developed flexural psoriasis and I am so embarassed and upset about it. It is in all the flexes you wouldn't want to have it. I have been to the DRs several times and have found the examinations excrutiatingly embarassing and have tried to explain that it's not only sore but is putting me off normal marital relations

I am using dovobet which is good but shouldn't be used for more than 4 weeks

It's back with a vengeance and I can hardly sit down but feel like crying at the thought of another examination by the GP, I have to take baby with me too which they don't like

Anyone else had this?

used to work in dermatology field (worked for stiefel laboratories who make polytar and oilatum etc). Has it flared up due to stress possibly....the run up to xmas. Have you had any methotrexate to help at any stage.

We foundPolytar shampoo is good for using around the genital areas....have you used this before

sometimes you can get an infection bacterial or fungal which can make it worse. Have you been swabbed, just to check? (I do get psoriasis down there, not pleasant I know)
