Sorry this is probably a really stupid question and I also wasn't sure where to post it.
I have a 5 month old and she is my first and I am concerned about what size clothes I should be dressing her in (sorry, I know it seems silly!) She is 19lbs and very tall. She has a really big belly and I don't know if this is normal for babies but all her trousers and skirts (even 6-9 month sizes) look too small on her as when she sits up her belly sticks right out over the top. When she is lying down there is some room between her belly and the piece of clothing. Is this normal, or does she just have a big belly (will she grow out of it, maybe when she starts crawling?), or could she be uncomfortable? It seems to be the case even when she is sitting in her nappy but I don't want to dress her in anything which makes the problem look worse or which isn't comfy for her.
