DS 3.5 flu: got tamiflu - what next?

Wondering if I can go to work on Monday, if nanny should come, if the rest of the family will become ill, if I should babysit for my friend tomorrow night... gahhhhh

anyone know anything about how contagious it is?

I wouldn't babysit myself - or at least I'd ask my friend how she felt about it.

DH bought it home from Spain and one by one the whole family got it. You'll already have been exposed.

That's only based on my personal experience, but I would say it is very infectious.

Also, can I ask if DS is vomiting? DD was and we found that Tamiflu made the vomiting worse so we decided to stop giving it so she could keep fluids down. She did take longer than us to recover.

LaTrucha - no vomiting - loose bowels though. First dose of Tamiflu has stayed down. So far. I reckon to be on the safe side also and just tell everyone we have plans with what's happening and let them decide.

So frustrating not to have swab & know for certain...
