I've been on cerazette for 9 months and it is making my life a misery. I cry all the time and I am fat now and also I have no sex drive whatsoever.

So. Today I have made the choice- condoms until I think of something else. Since it was the doctor who pushed me into cerazette, I want an idea of what I want before I go back. My appointment is in two weeks, so plenty of time!

One thing to note- I have in the past had migraines with aura so this cuts things down. I was thinking of the coil?
Thanks!

Snap! I got put on the pill after 2 years of very very carfull natural family planning (it worked for us but you have to be so carefull and I was tried of it all) so doc said try the pill.... oh what fun, I was grumpy, bloated and always upset...
so I took them back and asked what next?
They gave me info on the coil (copper only) I read it though and searched the net and conclution I came to is that if you have had a child and have good exsperienced DOCTOR (or my case I asked to see a new female one I trusted) then normal is no problems (touch-wood) you just need to check the treads ever month and go back for one check up and your good to go for upto 10 years. It was so easy though I little odd but I have had it in for a few weeks now and things are all carming down. I feel so much better for not being on the pill and its great we can enjoy 'playing' again.
I would say do your research as the coil is banned in some places but from what I read that was down to them being fitted by exsperienced doctors but is always best to be well informed.
Sorry this is long but I thought for ages it was just me Im so glad to see its not and I hope this helps. Thanks and good luck.
