And if you do, have you found that it feels like it's burning you?

I recently bought a new tube and each time we have used it it feels very uncomforable.

Is it just me?

Is it the warming one?

isitnearlychristmasyet · 25/11/2009 18:31

Warming - it's not warming me up

So are there two types now?

More than 2, one smells like mint sauce, I think it's called Tingle. So my friend told me.

CybilLiberty · 25/11/2009 19:27

I think you've mistaken it for Vicks Vaporub

BitOfFun · 25/11/2009 19:29

I have used it to get my shower doors to slide nicely- worked a treat.

Sounds like you might be allergic to something in it though.

Lizzylou · 25/11/2009 19:31

Just don't try Deep Heat

Ouch

cocolepew · 25/11/2009 19:32

I love Vicks, it cures all ills.

Tidey · 25/11/2009 19:33

Does it say 'New formula' or something similar on it? They've changed it and it's horrible now.

cocolepew · 25/11/2009 19:35

there's loads

TitsalinaBumsquash · 25/11/2009 19:35

Thats Durex Lube that do the tingle and the warming one

I have never used KY, i once worked at a Chemists and a really old guy literally ran into the shop asking for some KY really loudly, i was only a teen and went

Tidey · 25/11/2009 19:37

There are different kinds but the ordinary one has changed fairly recently. It's less thick and gloopy and more watery and ... well, burny I suppose, OP, yes. Try looking ones that don't say new formula on the box.

mrsdisorganised · 25/11/2009 19:38

Possibly TMI but the only time I found it uncomfortable was when I had BV which went undiagnosed for a long time due to my other than that it's fine.

isitnearlychristmasyet · 25/11/2009 19:38

I don't remember seeing anything on the box, which I threw out, and I just checked the tube which doesn't have anything about tingle (or Vicks or Deep Heat) on it.

And it doesn't smell like mint sauce.

cocolepew · 25/11/2009 19:40

cocolepew · 25/11/2009 19:41

maddylou · 25/11/2009 19:42

Yes it has changed .I complained but never actually filled in all the forms they sent me

Boots Lubricating Jelly is still fine-hope that helps

isitnearlychristmasyet · 25/11/2009 19:42

OMG coco, I just clicked on your link!

Mine is just the boring medical looking one - not on this website, I think!

Tidey, I think it's the one you found.

Rubbish.

OP posts:
isitnearlychristmasyet · 25/11/2009 19:45

Right, I'll get off to Boots then

Does anyone like the new formula?

OP posts:
cocolepew · 25/11/2009 19:45

Is it rude? I never looked at it.

sunnyshine · 25/11/2009 19:47

isitnearlychristmasyet · 25/11/2009 19:47

Not rude, but very strange. Is it American?

OP posts:
cocolepew · 25/11/2009 19:49

Probably French. They do things so much better there.

isitnearlychristmasyet · 25/11/2009 20:00

The Durex aloe vera one is gorgeous, as is the Tracey cox supersex one.

The durex heat one was "interesting" but we like the tingle one.
