Hiya,

I'm not a medic at all but always thought your glands come up when your body is fighting an infection or if you're a little run down?

Yep, normal life of a mum! Do you take any viatmins/do any excercise? I used to feel permanently knackered but feel much better since joining a gym (takes a real effort some evenings to go but always feel better after) and I also take a multi vitamin each day. Still pretty knackered a lot of the time but it's a whole lot better than it was!

Hope you feel better soon.

As Lisa said, swollen lymph glands usually means you are fighting an infection. I had a flu-like illness in October. My lymph glands were still swollen a month later, and I was very tired, so I went to my GP. A blood test confirmed that I had actually got glandular fever.

So, if your glands stay up for several weeks, it might be sensible to see your GP.

went to docs yesterday , said my ears were bad blocked and thinks may be causing glad to be up as drainige from ear all coneccted , funny i had sinus trouble weeks back and used spray up nose which helped , but have noticed crackling in ears and pain at times and slight blocked feeling in ears from time to time .
so going back next week to have the wax sucked out and he will look and see whats going on ..

said that doesnt feel like anything sinister as glands apparently feel different and are generally much much bigger .

so feel a bit better now seen him ..
