my son is 8weeks today and has red rashes on his face and neck. his body is really dry, i am using aqueous cream to wash him with but his skin is still dry and rough. we went for his 8weeks check today the doc gave his some epaderm and oilatum junior bath.

ps has anyone used these befor?

yes, I found oilatum utterly useless. However some people swear by them. Plus they are paraffin/petroleum based which Im not too keen on.

Epadurm - is that the really thick cream? It worked on my friends bad case of cradle cap.
Did not work for us.

I use unrefined shea butter from sheabuttercottage website.

Unrefined means its still got healing chemicals in it. Its really thick and lasts for hours. I have tried loads of creams with DS1. This I found the best. We have a 1kg tub! but you can buy small samples.

Also when it enters skins/its completely natural.

Also make sure use lots of times a day whatever you choose...once isnt enough.

Doc will probably recommend E45 cream next...
