I am getting conflicting advice online - can you give blood if you are on antidepressants?

It depends which ones. At the donation session the staff will be able to look yours up in their Book of Knowledge and tell you. It is a while since I donated but I have done so whilst on Prozac and Venflafaxine, if that is any use, but rules may be different now.

Don't know the answer, but rather than go to a session, you could call their 24 hour helpline: 0300 123 23 23 - they are usually really helpful with whatever question you've got.

Thanks. On venlafaxine. Thats good then, did a survey thing online ages ago and said no if on meds. Always wanted to but didn't think I was alowed to. Will phone tomorrow.
