I keep asking this and have had little to no response .
I just want to see if it is possible to get SF in late PG and live!!
A lot of woman on the PG forum who are too scared to have the jab but living in fear of it (like me) need reassurance.

I really feel for you and all others in your situation. As you said, my boys are here in front of me, if you have the jab you may worry and worry for a long time. If you don't you will worry about swine flu.

The thing is, I don't think you will ever get an answer you're happy with. There will always be scare stories, conspiracy theories, and genuine problems caused by vaccines.

I was vaccinating because my children are at high risk from flu. A risk higher than that from the vaccine as far as I am concerned.

I don't know if its possible for you to weigh that up.

If I was pregnant I honestly don't know what my decision would be.

With regard to chicken pox. My best friend was put in a coma by chicken pox as a child. She now has some minor ongoing health problems. A child local to me died from it last year.

Swine flu is similar I suppose. Most will be fine. Some won't. And the 'some' will be real people, not just statistics.

Am waffling now but hope you get my drift

whensmydayoff - sorry for sounding thick but is the aluminium ingrediant different to mercury ingrediant?

if you are talking about the mercury in one of the preservatives in the jab called thiomersal, then read the following:

taken from the world health organisation website:
--------
Thiomersal does not contain methyl mercury, which is a naturally-occurring compound and whose toxic effects on humans have been well studied. Thiomersal contains a different form of mercury (i.e. ethyl mercury, which does not accumulate, is metabolized and removed from the body much faster than methyl mercury).

The safety of thiomersal has been rigorously reviewed by scientific groups. There is no evidence of toxicity in infants, children or adults, including pregnant women, exposed to thiomersal in vaccines.
----------

I can not see anything about aluminium on that web page. Where did you read it contains this?

mumto3boys - i agree with you not wanting to take any risks, you have to weigh up the immediate risks with the "possible" long term effects and for it me its all about now!

devotion aluminium is in most vaccines.
The lump or sore arm associated with the jab is the aluminuim's attempt at trying to secrete from the body.
There have been no research on the safety of aluminium in vaccines.
There has been some research on aluminium in general and the findings are not good.
There is an abundance of it in our food but the gut can secrete 99% of it. When injected it stores in our bodies and stays there for many years/life and accumulates.

The world health organisation gave us specific safety levels of 0.001mg per Kg (persons weight) in injection. Any more is not considered safe. So what about the 32 jabs babies and children are given before 5 - nobody knows, the goverment and WHO have not funded any research on the matter!!!

Behavioral problems through to auto immune diseases such as MS have been strongly linked to MS.

I can go on and on but I have to get a life!!!
