My daughter may not have a vagina I am out of my mind with worry

I have just got back from the GP. My DD2 has no obvious vaginal opening, the GP says that she can feel no indent underneath the skin where an opening should be.

A couple of months back when I first realised there was an issue, I was not so worried as my sister had similar issue and she is fine and has children, but now I am out of my mind with worry.

My beautiful DD2, what will happen to her? She has been referred and am desperate to get an appointment date so that things can be investigated. In the meantime, please can someone give me hope? Has anyone been there? Am just about to go and pick up DD1, and will need to put on a brave face...oh god.

I have just been for my fourth GP appointment as no-one seems able to get it together to sort a referral out.

She went for conjunctivitus today, but I chased the appointment in any case. DD1 asked if she would need to have her bottom looked at if she got conjunctivitus. So now apart from the obvious concern, I am now worried how we may need to explain this to DD1. I think extra special parents site may be worth a visit.

Thank you for your kind help. Will keep you posted. GP today was lovely just hope she is`efficient.

Sounds more likely that it is same as your sister, rather than crossed sex - especially since the situation has got worse with passing urine. Try not to panic. Time will tell, and most likely is a simple operation to open it up.things up.
