has anone had nasal polyps removed?

how long did you have off work? was it really awful?

I have had this done twice, I had 2 weeks off work both times.

It wasn't pleasent but not too bad iykwim.

Is this your 1st time ?

yes it will be my first time. they are startng to constrict things a little and i have asthma so do not want to leave it till they get to mucg bigger.

i did not think it would be two weeks of work but oh well nothing i can do about that.

I was signed off work for two weeks but felt ok after the first few days .

I too have Asthma i'm sure but don't quote me that that makes us more likely to get nasal polyps unfortunatly.

I have just refused the op again as unfortunatly mine have returned but i have had a course of steroids and have an anti histamine everyday and that seems to be keeping my nose clear- ish.
