ihad mine fitted only yeasterday i thought it would be straight forward it was horrible i wish i had not bothered it was so painful i was crying like a baby! the nurse said it was because i had had surgery on my cervix a couple of years ago it would have been nice to have been fully informed i would not have gone near it if i was told i would have my cervix clamped and i feel really tearful about the whole event i am sore my tummy is swollen and to be honest i feel rather degraded the whole thing was rough and nasty i feel already i have made a mistake having this done anyone feel the same

Poor you I hope you feel better soon.

I fainted clean out! Woke up in the park where I was meeting dp and the dc looking like a drunk who had wet herself

However, it's been in over a year now, and I must say it's been great - periods are virtually nothing, it doesn't cause me any problems at all and it's lovely not to have to pop pills or remember contraception.

I do hope it's a happily ever after story for you too.
