I had stitches on my face on monday and the doc said ok, bakc in friday to have stitches out, staff 'll sort it. and then he strode off.

When I talked to the staff back on the ward about getting the stitchs out I said 'he said friday but they were a bit casual and said no monday will be fine.

NOW I'm really worried that if the stitches are in for a whole week it'll leave me with a scar. You know sometimes you see people with a scar and you can see where the stitches were??

I am a bit surprised that the stitches aren't soluble. I thought that these old fashioned stitches weren't used any more. NEver thought I'd have to go back in to have them taken out.
