Normal temp??

Whenever I have taken my temp with ear thermometer it is always under 97, usually 96.5

I have a bad cold which has made me chesty and my temp is staying around 99 with regular lemsip type product

How accurate are the ear thermometers? Looked on wiki and it says 99 is normal on them but if my normal is 96, is my temp equivalent of 102/3???

Mine is normally 96ish on the ear thermometor don't understand why 99 should be normal, if it says yout temp is 99 I would imagine that your temp is roughly 99 and therefore you have a higher temp than normal
