Unexpected prolonged bleeding! (Not pregnant or mentruating)

Hi all,
Well for the past week my daughters have had swine flu, over the worst but AWFUL!
I have had chronic earache, aching all over, could hardly walk headaches and vomitiing. Went to G.P who said it could be swine flu presenting in different way.
I am still very weak but my worry is, for the past 4-5 days i've been bleeding. I had a period about two weeks ago so i'm not due. It's enough to need towels but not like a heavy period. Could it just be the stress of the last week?

I didn't mention it at Docs as it started after that.

Could be, but unexpected bleeding should always be checked out.
