Had it done Tue pm, really struggling with the pain, had codeine and paracetomol. How long before I can walk or sit comfortably? Or even stop being in so much pain?

Are you constipated and having pain up your back passage? The reason I ask is that Codeine can cause constipation.....I was recently taking them after bowel surgery and was advised to stop.

I had this done a few years ago and the pain of the operation was ok after about a week. It was such a relief to be rid of the dreaded piles which were almost more painful than the operation.

Yes am taking the codeine with caution due to the constipation issue.
Also been prescribed an inflamtory that makes me sleepy but not sure if it is a cause of constipation too.
