...Come and be a Venus In Fake Furs (with a nod to any vegetarians, who may enjoy the odd Quorn fillet...)on our healthy eating thread, and watch yourself vanish before your very eyes, if that is your aim!

We are supporting each other to lose weight, or just eat well and get fit- but we do like a bit of a laugh along the way, so if you are interested in joining Shiney and the other regulars here and be in the gang, just drop in and post as much as you can- the thread moves fast!

All welcome- the only quiches round here are the contraband in my fridge

My van has broken down and I was planning to get RAC to tow it to garage about 40 miles away as it was unfixable - bloody genius mechanic got it going again (temporarily) meaning I had to drive it to garage, followed by 25 min walk, 40 min wait for a train, 20 min train journey, short walk, bus journey .. to arrive back home again. Least it's in capable hands. Getting excited/paranoid as weigh in tomorrow and have had first full week of diet success so far -will be devastated if good behaviour does not translate into weightloss!

I'd switch to a smaller vessel DEM!

DEMlostandtired · 31/10/2009 21:12

Nope refuse. Especially as ds has just a major meltdown and my mending pile for October has just trippled in size.

however he has finally realised that he wont have fun here, despite me trying very hard so he can, if he doesnt chose to enjoy himself so that is progress. Now have no voice from the shouting I knew tonight would be madness but this wasnt what I expected

and just because i can
that is about how i have felt at one stage or other today.

tomorrow will be better...

DEMlostandtired · 31/10/2009 21:26

I am going before I do anymore damage. I will be back when ready and not until ready. If someone see riven say sorry for me hadnt read her post properally and my post wasnt directed at her.

Hope all are ok.

fucking off.

FlamingoBOOMbo · 31/10/2009 21:28

Hello

I have missed lots of thread today - sounds like lots of people had rather a lot of crap .

Do you like my Bonfire Night name?

And DH sold a car! Trainees should sell one within the first couple of months and he sold one on day three! He's a real star!

But he's bought me Gu to celebrate, which is lovely, but I'm really trying to be very, very good this week because I put on a pound

I still fit in my size 10s though

Hope cats and cars become less problematic for shiney crew members tomorrow!

BiteOfFun · 31/10/2009 21:29

Night you poor lovey- hope things pick up

Hey all, I am back from an under 6 footie club Halloween night, slightly drunk...........
Actually now am verrry drunk and that is bad.
DEM< hope you and DS are OK
Flam, Yay, good on your DH

My FIL has been calling and missing me all day to apologise for breaking down and having to put the phone down!!!

The funeral is scheduled for Friday, the one day I can't get childcare, but I may be able to help out by having D nephew, who is scrumptious.

DH hasn't shown any emotion what so ever. One thing I have learned by being with him for the past 13 years is that the person who shouts/cries/emotes most is not necessarily the one who is hurting the most.

Danni M is on now, I looove her, I dyed my hair hair black so I'd look like her when she was in HOme and Away.....she is gorgeous.
She is fabulous.

OP posts:
Lizzylou · 31/10/2009 22:09

Her H&A was my look for a while.....
She is sooo pretty and lovely.
I also fancied her ex hubby, gah.
I love her!

Lizzylou · 31/10/2009 22:10

Ah, but this ballet was bursting with sex, drugs and rock'n'roll.

And men with very, very little clothing. Occasionally none

Very sexy

FlamingoBOOMbo · 01/11/2009 07:28

Gosh, you lot stopped chatting early last night!

What's going on???????

FlamingoBOOMbo · 01/11/2009 10:03

Just worked out MN is probably broken for you all - only seems to be working for a chosen few!

TheMitsubishiWarrioress · 01/11/2009 10:10

Hello.

I went to a haloween party last night, dresssed as one of dracula's brides, all in white, with velvet boots on...

It was in a muddy field!

And I now have jet black hair.

Hope drunk people from last night don't have hangovers, and I really hope you have a better day DEM.

My children are still asleep and I am slurping tea in bed and feel VERY decadent.

VinegarTits · 01/11/2009 10:23

Hello, my Macbook is ok, but it is not bendy so the corner is damaged, it was on at the time (i was MNing) so i am lucky it survived, but it does have a solid state hard drive so maybe thats why

I went out trick or treating with ds2, then to a mates for some halloween drinks (that is wine served in a skull shaped glass)

Feel as rough as a row of council houses today
