...Come and be a Venus In Fake Furs (with a nod to any vegetarians, who may enjoy the odd Quorn fillet...)on our healthy eating thread, and watch yourself vanish before your very eyes, if that is your aim!

We are supporting each other to lose weight, or just eat well and get fit- but we do like a bit of a laugh along the way, so if you are interested in joining Shiney and the other regulars here and be in the gang, just drop in and post as much as you can- the thread moves fast!

All welcome- the only quiches round here are the contraband in my fridge

Oh I love that biscuit emoticon- is it supposed to look like Gordon Brown, do you think?

Heehee, I will join you on a scrounging thread!

Hey, has anyone seen what else Boden have done? They have not only helped Trinity out, but donated £500 of vouchers to the Appeal too! How lovely is that?

bellavita · 04/11/2009 18:14

at Shiney.

BofF - I saw that about Boden - fab eh!

Lizzylou · 04/11/2009 18:30

I'm glad you didn't start a thread about TLE, Shiney, I may be a sucker but I just saw someone who needed some help and went about it in a clumsy way. Fab too.

But I am a sucker so could be being naive, I suppose.

Ooh, sounds delicious! I think your mum should adopt me, Shiney, and then I will work hard in dastardly ways to have you subtley but irrevocably estranged, like something out of a Dallas-type soap opera.

Well, I have been suckered again, perhaps, hey ho.

Pass us a chocolate, it will help me to get over it?

Your Mom does sound fab

Tell us about your purchases!

bellavita · 04/11/2009 18:55

Who the hell is tle? [dumb emoticon]

VinegarTitsOnFire · 04/11/2009 19:06

TLE is an oddball, i have thought this for a while now, she confirmed it for me today

She tried to scrounge £180 of the generous people who gave to TR, cheeky mare

hellsbelles · 04/11/2009 19:13

SHiney - lucky you - what a wonderful mum!

I read the TLE thread (not the posts on Trinity's thread which have now been deleted)...I did feel like she had just made a panic plea and released afterwards how it sounded and is now yes yes I know that isn't the right emotion but I had to use it!

jetforkesandbonfires · 04/11/2009 19:19

i meant Trinity's appeal, not TLE

VinegarTitsOnFire · 04/11/2009 19:19

Hells i have read a few of her threads in my time on MN and everytime there always seems to be some major crisis, but she doesn't seem to take on board any advice given to her, maybe she is just misfortunate, i dunno, but i have always been a little at her stories misfortunes

Maybe i am just overly suspicious

jetforkesandbonfires · 04/11/2009 19:23

Vinny - its funny you say that, as i worry people may think that about me I always seem to posting stuff which effectively says, look how shit my life is, when in reality, i am trying to say, "look how shit my life WAS, i am now trying to change". Did that make sense??

Lizzylou · 04/11/2009 19:23

AW, Jet they are lovely. Love the one of DD2 kissing DD1, do they get on?

Waiting for my chocolate, Shiney!!!

Lizzylou · 04/11/2009 19:23

Jet, you do not come across like that at all, you are so inspiring, you daft bugger!

jetforkesandbonfires · 04/11/2009 19:25

they do get on Lizzy - most of the time, like mos siblings i suppose. Junior is really good with mini, as it means she can take control of the situation - which is something she doesnt normally have the confidence to. Like the soft play areas - junior wont go in on her own, but follows mini around all day - helping her up and down things, as well as having plenty of goes herself

VinegarTitsOnFire · 04/11/2009 19:25

Jet dont be silly woman, your threads nothing like the ones she posts, and she blatantly came out and asked for £180 on TR thread, i was like she is just odd

jetforkesandbonfires · 04/11/2009 19:26

thanks Lizzy

Did someone mention chocolate
