...Come and be a Venus In Fake Furs (with a nod to any vegetarians, who may enjoy the odd Quorn fillet...)on our healthy eating thread, and watch yourself vanish before your very eyes, if that is your aim!

We are supporting each other to lose weight, or just eat well and get fit- but we do like a bit of a laugh along the way, so if you are interested in joining Shiney and the other regulars here and be in the gang, just drop in and post as much as you can- the thread moves fast!

All welcome- the only quiches round here are the contraband in my fridge

VinegarTitsOnFire · 04/11/2009 19:29

Talking of chocolate, i have been very good today and only eaten salad and fruit, came home from work and opened the top cupboard to start the tea and a chocolate digestive fell out and shot straight down my throat

Would you believe it

jetforkesandbonfires · 04/11/2009 19:32

ooooh you were very lucky there then Vinny - you could have choked or anything

I am quite craving some choccie now - am debating whether to send junior down to the shop (its as far as she dare go on her own (6 mins - she timed it) or whether to go myself as mini is fast asleep, and will be till at least 11pm. I have only ever done that once before, and that was when i had the car, so was only 2 mins.

But then i think, do i want chocolate that much...... but, i do need mils

bellavita · 04/11/2009 19:37

Can someone tell me who tle is - do I know her? If you don 't want to say the full mn name on here - fb me pleaaaase?

Just ignore me why dontcha!

jetforkesandbonfires · 04/11/2009 19:39

those are lovely pressies I too love John Lewis, though my nearest is up at Newcastle. Between there and the christmas window display at Fenwicks just over from JL - christmas shopping just has to be Newcastle every year.

This year - 28th Novemeber Just hoping i will actually have some money to go shopping with I think i am going for the sky plus box for junior - for 2 reasons. 1 - a lot less complicated to set up and use, and 2 - less inital outlay. I know i would have to pay the tenner per month, but that is easier than forking out a lot at the moment!

But, my amazing lack of technical skills actually made the decision a lot simpler lol

Bella She is the opposite to a Lord, then opposite to Odd then a star?

BitOfFun · 04/11/2009 19:39

Oh I would love some gorgeous bath products

Dd2 tends to ambush any toiletries and either make a mush on a piece of carpet, or just pour it all into her own bath. I really should learn, but i never do. Hence the Aldi Creme Bath being my potion of choice

jetforkesandbonfires · 04/11/2009 19:40

bella - if someone fb's you it, please could you fb me it

bellavita · 04/11/2009 19:40

Lizzylou · 04/11/2009 19:40

Your presents sound fab, Shiney

bellavita · 04/11/2009 19:41

hellsbelles · 04/11/2009 19:41

Vinny & Shiney - will take your word on it as I've only just read the one thread (Bella - I'll FB you now)

Jet - NO-ONE reads your posts in the way you are worried about...absolutely not - and lovely pics.

Shiney - JL is also my spiritual home! and that list is so perfect. Doesn't Ren stuff smell so yum - you are going to be super deluxe with all that pampering stuff

bellavita · 04/11/2009 19:43

Shiney - I am very of your pressies.... you lucky girl.

jetforkesandbonfires · 04/11/2009 19:44

VinegarTitsOnFire · 04/11/2009 19:53

Sorry Bella i have been in the shower, tired to sneak in on my own and ds2 followed and started stripping off

Your girls are gorgeous Jet

hellsbelles · 04/11/2009 19:56

one glass of wine and I'm feeling squiffy. It's 14% - what the hell is that about?! Needed it though as I had a pretty crappy day. Pretty much without fail November is always a rubbish month at work. There is always one problem after another - not sure why - but it's just the way it has been year after year...and then it'll all slide back to normal. Urghhh

I'm looking forward to watching True Blood tonight...has anyone else seen it? It's shockingly rude. I almost feel prudish watching it which is very unlike me!

bellavita · 04/11/2009 19:57

Vinny, DS2 used to do that!
