Copper Coil - Continual spotting.

I've had my coil for 6 months or so so i thought things were supposed to be settling down by now but it seems to be getting worse and not better. I always seem to be spotting, sometimes barely there pinkness and other times brown gunk. It's doing my head in. Is it normal for it to go on this long ?

I've had a normal smear since having it in.

have you had swabs to check its not an infection?

Not yet no, could if be ? I dong have any other symptoms of infection.

when i had my copper coil i got this about 4/5 days before my period , is yours due or does this happen all the time .? could always talk to nurse at FPC, or doctors they may be able to shed light on it a bit more and give you reasurance ?
