Has anyone had to get their child vaccinated with Typhoid/HepA -going to Mexico and I think it will be a must (DH and I had to have them when we went on honeymoon)

If so how did they tolerate it?

I think it's easier just to select what you eat and where you eat it. If you are going to be going through rough areas and eating food from people who sells it in the street, then have the vaccine. Though if you are the average tourist, I would only pay attention to drink bottled water and avoid foods that have not been thoroughly cooked. Typhoid is quite unusual even for people living there, I wouldn't bother with a vaccine.

We all had typhoid/Hep A&B when we went to live abroad. Apart from the soreness of the actual jags, there weren't any side effects.
