My dd has this too, my mum always has a fit when she sees what colour her poo is. (one of these conversations that you dont have in RL)!

have a feeling its something to do with the liver - but dont quote me. Also excessive milk could be quite paling

rickman, I think you should get her checked out. Pale poo CAN be a symptom of liver problems as you have found out yourself from the internet. If she is pale and looks poorly and you feel she is not quite right then best to nip her along to the GP for a quick once over. Trust your instincts.

Anaemia can cause pale loose stools.

Does she eat a lot of cow's milk products? Lots of yogurt or drinking milk can do this to my kids

when my dd was a milk glugger she had pale poos too! Now her appetite has evened out and she eats a more varied diet things are back to normal.

With the milk they were also quite loose.

Are her poos normal otherwise. Do they flush ok. Pale putty coloured stools can be a sign of coeliacs. These are normally greasy difficult to flush and pale. DH is a coeliac.
