Any dentists online? Question about dental surgery

I had 8 teeth out 2.5wks ago, 5 top back teeth, 2 wisdom teeth and a broken/hollow one.

Anyway, the 5 top back don't seem to be healing, I had stitches and they dissolved ok but there's like (TMI) a jelly/gunky/white thing there, I've knocked it out twice when brushing my teeth but put it back because underneath is red raw.

Back to dentist? Going to call tomorrow anyway but thought I'd ask here.

Try gargling with salt water - this keeps infection at bay - it sounds disgusting but is really useful!

Thanks, went to the dentist earlier. One of the stitches didn't dissolve and food and bits had collected there, making it sore and not able to heal. All sorted now
