Dental cavities in 2 year old, what do you do? Fill them or let them rot?

My two yr old ds has four cavities despite not eating sugar. Anyway, dentist says they need filled. I dont want this because he will go ape shit and so will I. What did you do with your kid's teeth and if you got them filled, did they have to have needles? My son would never go for that, nor would I.

@Izziwelns
What about drinks? Does he walk around with a bottle with juice (even diluted) or milk or other drinks but water?
Damage at the front teeth in such a going child is usually cause by a constant sucking on drinks which have sugar or fizzy drinks even without sugar as the carbonate will damage teeth.

I am really sorry for your boy but you must take the bottle away. He can have his milk morning and evening or whenever you are giving it to him and after the milk, teeth brushing. No more bottle during the day, no juice, no squash, nothing but still water.

Hopefully it is not too late for his other teeth.
