wierd lumps

sorry this is a bit yukky and odd but wondered if this rang any bells?

over the past few weeks I've been getting little lumps under the skin on my hands and arms. Like tiny hard spots but no fluid or head (yeurgh) or anything. They're sore for a few days and then go. Anyone have a clue what they might be?

Are they in patches a bit like a rash?

no - really odd! they're all alone (but about 5 on my hand at the mo). I can't see any pattern to it.

bump... (or should that be lump?)

I have something similar but the bumps are quite small and every so often they itch like mad and flare up. I have a patch on my hand and one on my arm.

People have told me it's a reaction to the change in temp but who knows.

Go and see your gp, it can't be comfortable if they're sore.

yes I spose I should. Its really tricky to get to my GP as I work so far off but will have to try to get there when on hols in a few weeks.
