Glass in my foot - help....

I broke a mirror and think I steped on some glass, I have tried to get it out with no joy. It is saw when I walk on it so I'm pretty sure there is some in there but I cannot see it.

Any great mums out there with any tricks of how to get it out?

I have soaked in a hot bath for ages then tried to get it out and no luck....

if not wait till morning, try not to step on it much, in the morning go to drs and have it checked.
what do you think of that?

No I cant see it, and the glass got in last sat... maybe i should try the doctors, I just dont want anyone to do anything painfull to me...

A&E when I did this I'm afraid. They injected some local anaesthetic and pulled it out. Don't think it would have come out any other way. On the plus side took two minutes and was fine after. Is there a minor injuries unit near you?

How long did u have it in there before u got it taken out? Also could u see it? as i can't.

I was a bit drunk when I got it in . So I didn't go to the hospital until the next day when it became apparent it wasn't going to magically go away over night!

I couldn't see it but it showed up on an X-ray wedged right against various toe bones (I've posted the story here before, but basically never jump up and down on hot shattered pyrex no matter how much your burnt toe hurts!!)
