stye/powk on my eye

My eye is sore and i have a small white lump under my eye where you apply eyeliner underenath,is it a stye/powk and will it go away on its own?

Sounds like a stye (never heard of a powk!). My granny's favourite cure was to rub a gold ring on it!.

Go to a chemist they will advise.
