so, you have an abcess on your nipple.. have you been breastfeeding? been bitten?

first thing to do is go the doctors and get checked out, in all likelihood, a dose of ABs will sort it out

leaving it will mean it gets worse, and oyu don't want a nasty infection spreading

sorry but another on here that thought you had a fanjo issue.

no idea about the abcess. im sure its perfectly normal, just go doc's

It could be an infected hair follicle, they can go nasty sometimes, they can grow inwards. Try putting tea tree oil on it maybe? But obviously if it doesn't clear up then it will be gp.
Sorry not sure if that's any help, but as a health worrier myself, do sympathise.

there's no reason for this, no breastfeeding, chafe, anything

so an abscess/pustule here is quite common?

and crescent yes, i'll try the tea tree, so far only savlon
