MIrena Coil

I am about to have my mirena coil out tomorrow...please tell me what Im in for during the procedure and afterwards. I was asleep when I had it put in as was having an op on my ovarys at same time. I'm a little scared its going to hurt heaps!

misslisa, i have a mirena coil, it's never given me any trouble. I am not much help because it isn't due out for another couple of years, but good luck I can't remember mine hurting going in, so suppose it won't hurt going out.

I had mine out on Tues and it was fine - was asked to cough and it was over !
Bleeding a lot now tho .
